Mr. Pearce started his career as a prosecutor with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. From 1977 to 1982, he investigated and tried an array of felonies and misdemeanors for the People of the State of New York, with an impressive record of convictions. Mr. Pearce then worked with Cullen & Dykman where he focused on varied litigations throughout the New York metropolitan area. Thereafter, Mr. Pearce started his own practice, representing banks, large and small businesses and individuals, focused mainly, but not exclusively, on general commercial, business, property and related litigation. He holds an advanced degree in taxation and also counsels clients regarding transactional and personal matters. Mr. Pearce has recently turned his practice into a father-daughter shop, when he hired his associate, and daughter, Jessica Pearce in 2010.

Before joining her father’s firm, Ms. Pearce work for The Edmisten and Webb Law Firm, a Federal Defense Firm in Raleigh, N.C. and interned at the Prosecutor’s office in Orange County, NC, where she successfully tried a variety of misdemeanors. As a junior lawyer in a small firm, she has been responsible for handling a wide range of matters, from trial level litigations to appeals to wills and estate proceedings to corporate and transactional issues.
